Currently in the process of growing another set after cutting my previous set that I had for about eleven years. I still have phantom locks though. I had my old set for so long that I can still feel them even though they're gone.

woah. still got mine gave them a bit of a trim recentmly, but they are looking lively eight +years this week.

2 months into the process. Doing it completely natural - no TnR, back-combing or anything else.
Haven't used a comb for years, yet always finger-fought the knots for one peculiar reason or another, but (k)not from now onwards. Got a few tip "paddles" n loops, so far - nothing dramatic or too noticeable, but I can feel the changes... and there's no rush. It'll happen in its own way.
