… change has happened before, can and will happen again. but our generation will not be the one to affect change to our current set of world issues. it will be our kids, if anyone. the "me" generation is too busy trying to get famous for doing nothing.

You can find it in any countries political system, It's when a person actually finds the initiative to get off their arse and make a difference.

I can't stand the socialist hacks that preach and harp on about revolutions and overthrowing the bourgeois.
Change will be had through reconstruction. For good or bad.
Voting (from my united states perspecitive)is a construct of a system I deem as corrupt or unjust. Voting means I am complicit in rules of the system I deplore. Its their !@#$ game nomatter what I do. Its fucky !@#$.
In any case I think the time we are in now is more about whining than actually doing. Doing will come later.

Re: Obama... I honestly think based on census and demographics they can deduct the majority of the vote in advance. Well that's common knowledge I guess. Really maybe years in advance they may already have a clue as to the next census. Not that it's corrupt just that it is a highly educated hypothesis of social sciences. Actually it might be a good thing for protectionism. I'm glad they have control over politics in that. Of course there are unforeseeable truths that none can predict and I'm glad for that too.
