Question about piercings being a dreadlock forum, i assume many of you have piercings in unconventional places (ie not your earlobes) and i have a quick question.
recently got my tragus pierced (the inner part of your ear) and after about three weeks a small red bump appeared. it's a little tender, and sometimes it looks like it's going down but it's been here for about a month now. i know this is quite common for cartilage piercings and the same thing happened when i got my nose pierced. it's pretty annoying and i was wondering if any of you guys have experience with this.
as of right now i've been soaking it with hot salt water a couple of times a day. do you guys have any other tricks that will get this damn thing to go down??

Re: Question about piercings yeah, i had something similar with both my nose piercings, just don't overwash, don't use any alcohol based cleansers or harsh stuff.
peace and patience should do it, if not, talk to your piercer - they'll set you in the right direction
