consolidation of subforums;
there are too many subforums, well, too many considering some of the redundant subforums that could easily be done away with. re-wording the details of the subforum, you would easily be able to merge a few together.
this would create a forum alot easier to navigate, along with more discussion as opposed to clicking on 9293494 individual subforums. naturally alot of !@#$ will not be noticed.
also you would have room for a new, completely UNRELATED subforum should one be wanted.
for example, the ENTIRE .:All About Dreadlocks:. section could be fused to ONE or TWO subforums. who posts in FAQ? would i be wrong to say that Dreadlocks, Dreadlocks 911 and Anything Knotty are not short of.. THE SAME THING?
this causes 5 small posts a month and a big pain in the ass.
another example is The Cinema and Entertainment, they are not used frequently enough to be separate subforums. bringing those together would probably have more views, in turn more posts, more discussion and-- more entertainment.
Shameless Self Promotion/For Sale or Trade-- again, the traffic here is light enough for a merge.
Philosophy/Your Thoughts-- ditto.
i haven't been through the *New Subforum Ideas* thread yet, as this just ran across my mind, but we could draw ideas for new topics from there.
maybe one day if i get really really, really bored and there's no more re-runs of the Patridge Family on i'll run through the thread.
WHaT CHU THaNK KL????

…
I've actually been thinking of something similar as well, All what you said is true, unless there's a reason to keep all those sub Forums, I don't see why it can't be done.
