time sure moves slowly around here, thanks for all the replies guys, unfortunetely i have cut my hair short once again after 3 years of letting it grow and it feels way better now, i may consider dreads in the future but i doubt it will happen anytime soon considering how hard it was to even start them via neglect this time around (prolly due to the thinning caused by my first set of natural dreadlocks)

I cut mine in 2019. But I just decided to start a new set. Again neglect "method". Since I cut the last set, I always had trouble keeping my hair tidy, forgot to brush it all the time. So I guess, neglect hair is just the right way for me. But this time I'm a bit concerned about the reactions it might cause in terms of cultural appropriation. It's a difficult topic.
