You're making it seem like God is a man. With a physical body, like you and I. He's not some dude in outer space, watching over us like a television.
From my experiences in life and the things I have learned, I honestly believe that God is real. God is real because He lives inside of us. God is omniscient and omnipresent because of that.
No matter what you believe, I hope that one day we will all achieve peace, nirvana, heaven, etc....

They say we're just like God, and there's a lot of verses in the bible where it's shown God has emotions and !@#$, which preachers say "is proof" that we've been made in his image or whatever. ie; God is like man, but better.
Also, I went to a catholic church the other day, and the guy talking was saying something about some new arch angel since 2009 and stuff, like heaven's got politics or something. How did he manage to get news of heaven's politics and !@#$ - weird. I won't lie, I was laughing on the inside. It just felt silly to me.

this life is such a beautiful one, religion was created because it seems to make grieving easier. but to me realizing that this life is the only life we have makes it so much more precious.
