Re: Excellent debunking of creationist urban myths
I'm bored so I'm gonna jump on this thread.
If creationism does not explain how we got here then what does? What other religious ideas or scientific evidences provide a clear answer to the "how'd we get here" question? And do these conclusions remove all doubt or is there still room for debate?

Re: Excellent debunking of creationist urban myths
there are standards and guidelines and certain criteria that need to be met in order to be labeled "science", intelligent design fails to meet any of that.
evolution is the theory with the MOST empirical, scientific data to support it, in which the majority of the scientific community has agreed.
no other theory meets or surpasses the level of scientific evidence that evolution has reached.
i think EVOLUTION is the only theory that should be taught at length in science classes.

^ Agreed.
I think only things with certainty should be taught. Because we lack a definite answer, encouraging curious minds to question and research for themselves will (in my opinion) make for more open-minded and bullshit-immune folk.
