few shots of Alaska in the summer

These pics were taken on the road driving from the last leg of our Minnesota to AK trip (3,000 miles). We made it in just under four days which is pretty much drive and sleep. We arrived in Anchorage 8pm (in broad daylight) and my dad reported for work 8am the next day. So we had no time to !@#$ around what so ever with sight seeing despite how beautiful British Columbia and Alaska are (Manitoba, Saskatchuan and all of the Yukan Territory except for the last 300 miles (GORGEOUS) can eat a dick)

I have two rolls of undeveloped film I should really get my ass on but I'll make this thread so I have a little bit of an excuse to do so. Pardon the droplets and dead bugs I managed the best I could.

(These are all coming into Alaska shots mostly scenery)

Oh man I want to travel up that way so bad.

It sounds like it was a fast trip but that's cool you got to enjoy it a bit! Very rad.

Nope we are far too South for that, believe me I was disappointed. At it's darkest we seem to get two hours of dawn/dusk and four hours or so of normal light.

Amanitas grow EVERYWHERE in the fall. Its insane... to have so many hallucinogenic mushrooms at my finger tips...

I intend to take some tomorrow. The mountains take on quite a different personality in the winter. I hope the day is nice and clear.

Since August. Time really flies when your busy. The past six weeks in contrast have been agonizing and slow, I can't wait for the semester to begin.

I prefer the winter look, but still fab. I bet it's even prettier when it's sunny.
