This world is fast becoming a pretty horrible place to live, and it's getting me a tad down.
I hate money. I really do. I wish I could plant some cabbages, trade them for fish at the market, and make my own clothes from rags. Even go butt nekkid.
All my adult life (I'm 23 now so that's 5 years), I have been stalked by companies, harassed with letters from companies threatening court action for money I don't owe or have, been stopped in the street to sign up to corporations, and paid to take a piss in a public toilet because guess what - you get an £80 fine for pissing in the street.
Of course pissing in the street is repaired with £80. The irony is public toilets hardly ever work so you're left with two options: do it in the street or in McDonalds. And Ronald doesn't like us to go in there without spending money too.
It's really getting me down. I notice that the only 2 things the majority of the world care about are money and appearances - the most useless and unnecessary qualities of them all. What's more, they don't bring any happiness or joy whatsoever.
Is it just the United Kingdom that's like this? I will seriously emigrate from this country if that is the case.
I just want to live without money. A hippy commune back in the day would be ideal for me. But alas, it seems that even most of them charge nowadays. It's inescapable - even then I'd have to pay council tax for nothing.
Any ideas to get me out of this hole?

I guess it's western society that is the problem. Money, fame and beauty are the only way to get respected in this world.
My problem is, I basically want nobody except my family and friends to know I exist, something which in one of the most policed countries in the world is not easy to do.
I want out of this place but can't afford it.
I would happily give up my xbox, telly, music, clothes, money and everything else for ACTUAL freedom, because nobody in this country is free anymore. It's like a colossal walled prison.

I get where you're coming from, but I can't grow money, I can grow cabbages for free.
You can't really be born into cabbages either. You can be born into land I guess, but growing the cabbages within takes love and time.
Cheers for the rose anyway, I'm sorry if my post made me sound like a jumper-to-be.
I guess I don't like paying for necessities, like pissing, water, condoms, and such.
On the bright side, at least I have a free health service.

Haha, dude I know exactly what you mean. The UK is fucked in so many ways, but ultimately, so is every other country. The pressures of modern living are a catalyst for stress because there are always people with more than yourself, and when your peers are judging you by standards or values that you do not conform to or agree with, it can be difficult.
But yeah, keep plugging away man and appreciate the things which matter (as I'm sure you do). The nation and I daresay 'The West' on the whole are becoming individually wealthy but collectively poorer. But face it, we are all reading this from the screen of a computer which we own, which is a hell of a lot more than millions of people on this planet can claim. Anyway... you all know what I'm saying isn't new, but check this link out, pretty interesting.
