help! honey in dreadlocks!
hi, i just got two-strand twists yesterday, but the loctician used honey in my hair. it was very uncomfortable & sticky, & i didnt realize it was bad for your twists/baby dreads. i paid 50 dollars for this and i dont want to spend any more money to get it fixed. im so frustrated and panicking. theres traces of honey in my hair, and its just an uncomfortable mess. its not tight, and some of the ones on the back have come undone. is there a way i can remove the honey, and use something else to keep it in place? the sections are not straight but i think i can fix it if i fix one dread at a time. any ideas or help you can offer? i didnt even go to school today. i am caucasian with type 2a/b hair, and it is about 2.75-3in long. the dreads are hard and not what i expected, i think i can keep th twists already formed and just remove the honey and replace it with something else.
